THE LANTZTECH COMPANY

Based in Halmstad, Sweden, LANTZTECH is a family-driven company supplying premium machines and equipment to the automotive industry. Urban Lantz, the founder of LANTZTECH, started in 1989 by developing hydraulic crimping machines as a one-man operation. With an unwavering passion for technology, innovation, and quality, LANTZTECH has since grown into a leading manufacturer with customers around the world.

In 1991, our first employee was hired and our first hydraulic crimping machine was introduced to the market. Throughout the 1990s, several machine types followed, such as crimping, pressure testing, and assembly machines. LANTZTECH started becoming a recognized brand for high-volume output within automotive industries throughout Europe.

In 2001, we integrated vision and measuring solutions into our machines, followed by the launch of our ARC software and HMI in 2003. In 2018, we transitioned to fully electric crimping machines, and our commitment to modernization led to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications in 2022.

After three decades of leadership, Urban Lantz retired in 2023, passing the company to the next generation of the Lantz family. Today, LANTZTECH is led by Daniel Lantz (CEO), Christoffer Lantz (CTO ), and Louise Lantz (COO), who continue to uphold the company’s strong family values and commitment to engineering excellence.

In 2025, we are a worldwide supplier of machines and equipment for the automotive industry. We take pride in our in-house capabilities, with close to 100% of our machine production being done in our facilities in Halmstad, Sweden. This ensures superior quality, functionality, and long-term reliability.
